Building BILLA's Winter Games Customer Experience
<p>BILLA Czech Republic has launched its winter sports-themed customer campaign to celebrate the spirit of the Games. ACTUM Digital played a key role in bringing this vision to life, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across digital touchpoints.</p>

<h2>The Challenge: Making Complex Campaigns Feel Simple</h2><p data-pasted="true">BILLA's campaign included multiple layers – physical scratch cards in stores, digital games, leaderboards, and the interactive "Medal Mission." The challenge was creating a user experience that made all these activities feel intuitive and connected.</p><p>Our goal was straightforward: customers should understand the rules, track their progress, and enjoy their rewards without confusion. Every interaction needed to feel rewarding, whether they were scratching a card in-store or competing in the Medal Mission in BILLA klub mobile application.</p><h2>The Solution: Custom Technology That Performs</h2><p>We implemented the entire campaign on Kontent.ai, but we didn't stop at standard features. To deliver the competitive, gamified experience BILLA envisioned, we built custom elements including:</p><ul><li><strong data-pasted="true">Dynamic player leaderboard</strong> with advanced filtering to keep competition engaging</li><li data-pasted="true"><strong>Seamless integration</strong> between physical and digital touchpoints</li><li data-pasted="true"><strong>Real-time updates</strong> to keep content fresh throughout the Games</li></ul><p>The result is a high-performance platform that handles thousands of active participants while maintaining speed and reliability.</p><h2>Mobile-First Design</h2><p data-pasted="true">A central part of the project was the mobile app, where we created a dedicated "Medal Mission" hub. This hub serves as the gateway for users to:</p><ul><li>Take quizzes and test their sports knowledge</li><li>Collect virtual medals</li><li>Play games of chance</li><li>Track their position on the leaderboard</li></ul><p>The mobile experience was designed to be instant and intuitive – tap, play, win.</p><h2>An Ongoing Partnership</h2><p data-pasted="true">Our collaboration with BILLA continues with real-time updates and optimizations throughout the winter ames.
