About the job

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Engagement Manager who can lead complex client projects end-to-end and act as a trusted partner for both stakeholders and delivery teams. This role has above-standard Project Management skills a consulting overlap — understand client’s needs, help clarify goals, shape requirements, and propose decisions. Deep technical knowledge is not required; we value leadership, structure, and communication.


Key responsibilities:

  • Lead client projects from kick-off to delivery (scope, timeline, budget, risks)
  • Drive communication across stakeholders, teams, and leadership
  • Facilitate workshops, align expectations, and support decision-making
  • Translate business needs into clear deliverables and actionable plans
  • Manage change, dependencies, and team capacity
  • Mentor junior PMs and contribute to improving internal processes
  • Build trust with the client in Actum as a partner
  • Help the client solve issues even beyond the scope of the specific projects

What we expect:

  • Strong track record in project delivery (agency, consulting, IT services, or corporate is an advantage)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication
  • Ability to structure complex topics and lead under uncertainty
  • Confident facilitation skills (workshops, steering meetings, retros)
  • Ownership mindset and ability to proactively solve problems
  • Czech/Slovak fluency + English (min. B2/C1), German is advantage
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience in consulting, process improvement, or business analysis
    • Familiarity with cross-border projects
    • Experience leading multi-team or cross-functional projects
