About the job 

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling complex Websites, E-commerce, and Portal solutions to European clients, including those from Czechia, Benelux, DACH, and the UK. Initially, your focus will be on acquiring new clients. While you'll start with 2-3 existing clients, it will be crucial to actively expand your portfolio by seeking new business opportunities. You’ll work closely with internal teams, including consultants, architects, and the Sales Director, to ensure the successful delivery of highly customized solutions. Your role will involve building long-term relationships and creating tailored sales strategies for different markets.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Territory Management: Focus on clients in the DACH, Benelux, and UK regions, actively prospecting and developing sales strategies using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other tools.
  • Sales Support: Leverage internal resources such as success stories, client referrals, and leads from vendors (Kentico, Sitecore) and marketing campaigns (PPC) to boost your prospecting efforts.
  • Lead Generation & Go-to-Market Strategy: Proactively generate your own leads through networking, prospecting, and market research, without solely relying on company-provided leads. Build and implement a sustainable go-to-market strategy tailored to your assigned region.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to coordinate project delivery and achieve key sales milestones. You’ll receive guidance and support from Martin Doležal (Sales Director) and other team members.
  • Achieving Sales Targets: Take ownership of meeting sales quotas and KPIs, which will be defined during the interview process and aligned with both your strengths and the company’s targets.

What we expect:

  • Sales Experience in Custom Development Solutions: You have experience selling complex and highly customized solutions like Websites, E-commerce, or Portal projects. You are comfortable handling large deals (average deal size €600K) that require a tailored approach.
  • Active Listening & Strong Communication: You are skilled at asking the right questions, listening actively, and understanding the client's business needs in order to deliver relevant, value-driven solutions.
  • Technical Understanding & Project Management: You have a solid understanding of software development and project management, enabling you to communicate technical details effectively with both clients and internal teams.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: You are quick to think on your feet, offering creative solutions and smaller projects to initiate relationships, and you adapt well to different sales scenarios.
  • Fluency in English: You are fluent in English (C1), enabling you to confidently present ideas and solutions, as most client communications will be in English. Proficiency in German is an advantage but not required.
  • Proven Sales Strategy & Deal Closure: You are organized and able to detail how you’ve successfully closed large, custom development deals in the past. You can craft and execute a sustainable go-to-market strategy.
