One of the most extensive Sitecore implementations in the world. The goal of the project was to migrate Sitecore from version 7.2 to 8.1 update 3, which is a stepping stone for analytics implementation.
Everything runs on dozens of servers in more than 60 countries on 3 continents.
The comprehensive Oriflame solution required many parts of Sitecore to be customized. ACTUM worked on a different version of the original version 7.2 with an unknown code. At the same time, we coordinated the parallel development of 50 Oriflame developers whose code was continuously merged and modified during the project to ensure successful implementation.
As part of rebranding RWE to innogy, we designed and implemented their migration from end-of-life CMS to Sitecore XP 8.1.
Within their migration, we designed, together with the client’s teams and third-party teams, the infrastructure design, deployment process and the overall architecture of the system, implementing the new atomic layout.
The entire system is operated on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. The web is integrated with the client’s internal systems running in its on-premises data centers, generally providing a hybrid (cloud/on-prem) architecture.
METRO Cash & Carry
We have built independent sites in 25 countries on the Sitecore platform for METRO Cash & Carry in order to enable our client to develop its global customer experience strategy.
While building these sites, we tested the UX and graphic design, connected the solution to dozens of internal and external systems, and used several data centers worldwide. Continuous administration and maintenance in all countries is provided from Prague.We are working on dozens of other development and consulting projects for the client.
The implementation of the METRO GROUP corporate site on the Sitecore platform made it possible to take into account more user needs in terms of design, speed and user experience.
It offers increased flexibility in content creation and management, personalization and analytical data collection for internal users (administrators).
In 2012, we designed and implemented a website with an integrated job portal for Grafton Recruitment in six CEE countries. The Sitecore platform made it possible to link the client’s existing systems, advanced user segmentation and personalization of content based on previous behavior.
As part of the project, we expanded the search options for job vacancies. After logging in, the search engine automatically offers vacancies according to pre-selected criteria.
