Product Owner

What’s going on:

Actum is making a new e-commerce solution for SIKO koupelny & kuchyně. As SIKO’s app landscape consists of SAP ERP and CRM, they decided to utilize the SAP Commerce (aka Hybris) platform (as opposed to the previous Sitecore solution). We’ve built a dedicated team for their project that finds itself in need of a product owner.

The task of the team is to follow SIKO guidance and produce a new e-commerce omnichannel solution integrated with various SAP based systems. SIKO’s goal is to use the new platform not just for the sales of their products but also services (design, delivery and construction of bathrooms, kitchens and doors).

As product owner, your most important task will be to cooperate closely not only with the development team but also closely working with Client’s Marketing & Sales department as well as other development teams in order to ensure seamless delivery of our expertise to the client, while also clearly communicating client requirements back to the development team.

Your development team is seated in Prague Holešovice, but you’re expected to spend 1-2 days a week in Client’s premises either in branch in Prague or in HQ in Čimelice to engage with business part of the team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Product owner for e-commerce platform of,
  • Helping with product to service based business transformation
  • Completing and owning product vision, roadmap, backlog
  • Taking part in product strategy definition
  • Serve as product owner to a team of 5 BE developers, 2 FE developers, 2 UX/UI designers, 2 testers. Cooperate closely with the scrum master, solution architect, and digital business consultant.


  • Experience as product owner of a web-based solution (e-commerce would be even better but not necessary). Don’t let the word SAP scare you, SAP Commerce is a Java and Angular based omnichannel commerce platform.
  • Business oriented mind as well as:
  • Technical background in SW development;
  • Strong bias towards cooperation across the whole team, not afraid of changes;
  • Able to accommodate various client stakeholders;
  • Good skills in providing arguments backed by data;
