Division Director

Mission position:

  • Manage and develop a division, which is based on clients using Kentico technology, and deliver the required profit and generating long-term growth with satisfied clients and people
  • Maintain and strengthen the position of TOP Kentico implementation partner in Europe and, thanks to the obtained reputation and trust, grow the joint business of Actum and Kentico in Europe
  • Acquire new clients for the division at the Gold (500k EUR / year) / Platinum (1M EUR per year) level, especially in DACH, BENELUX, UK
  • Obtain orders / clients in the US
  • Build and develop the Alpha Unit on the principles of a free company or participatory decision-making
  • Systematically support innovation, ambition, drive, and personal growth
  • Focus the unit on activities with maximum added value, dive into satisfying projects for satisfied clients

Organizational structure:

  • Direct superior at present CEO, Tomáš Vondráček. At the same time, a selection process is underway for MD, which will take over the role of direct superior
  • MD will report to the Board of Directors
  • Subordinates: approx. 30 (Sales / Relationship Managers, Project Managers, .NET Developers, FE / JS Developers, Solution Architects, QA, Admin, SWA, Customer Care, etc)
  • Same Tier => 5 Division Directors (Apollo (Sitecore), Trinity (Java), Delta (Content), Supernova (Microsoft), X (Bodyshop))
  • Support => WMC Group (Finance, HR, Legal, Back Office), Actum Digital (Corporate Marketing and Strategic Sales, Business Intelligence)

Characteristics of position, role, and division:

  • At the turn of 2019/2020, Actum Digital underwent a fundamental change in the organizational structure from a traditional functional organization to a divisional structure. The divisions do business and make decisions very freely and independently. Open and transparent communication and involvement of all team members in the management of the organization is expected. Anyone in the division has the right to access all financial indicators, the division manages its own budget, and is responsible for its results.
  • Division Director - CEO approval: business plan, business strategy, investment, HR (hire / fire / rise), Legal, Finance
  • Approval at the level of Division Director - CEO + Board of Directors: Strategy Unit
  • Responsibility for management P/L
  • Division-wide approval: hire / fire, profit sharing, etc.
